Le développement de Dead Space 2 étant déjà bien avancé, Electronic Arts s'est enfin décidé à officialiser le nouvel opus de sa franchise survival-horror développé par Visceral Games. On en sait assez peu pour le moment : on incarnera une nouvelle fois Isaac Clarke et on affrontera toujours les Necromorphs. Tout comme les zones en gravité zéro, le plasma cutter fera son grand retour et sera accompagné de nouvelles armes.
