Les développeurs de Team Fortress 2 viennent d'ajouter des bots au jeu, pour ceux qui n'ont pas d'amis ou qui sont trop noob pour venir sur notre serveur. Attention cependant, les bots ne sont encore qu'en phase de bêta test et ils ne sont disponibles que sur une poignée de cartes. Valve Software a par ailleurs patché le jeu en corrigeant toute une liste de bugs.

Pour utiliser les bots :Team Fortress 2
- To add bots to your game, use the console command tf_bot_add. This will drop a random bot onto a random team (assuming there is a free player slot). The tf_bot_add command can also take up to three optional arguments:
, , and , in any order. For example, tf_bot_add 10 will add 10 random bots to the game with auto-assigned teams. Typing tf_bot_add pyro blue will add a Pyro to the blue team. Entering tf_bot_add red 5 will add 5 random bots to the red team. The command tf_bot_add red 3 heavyweapons will add three heavies to the red team. - In order to put specific bots on specific teams (for a bots-vs-humans game, for example), you may want to disable automatic team balancing. To do this, enter mp_autoteambalance 0 followed by mp_teams_unbalance_limit 0.
- To remove a bot, use the console command kick
. To remove all of the bots in the game, use the command tf_bot_kick all.

* Fixed the Chargin' Targe's crit not working on servers with tf_weapon_criticals 0
* Capped the amount of overhealing from taking heads to the player's max buffed health
* Updated the Gunboats to absorb damage from any self-inflicted rocket blast that doesn't hurt another player
* Updated the Scottish Resistance to detonate bombs near the player's feet (in addition to what it normally detonates). This enables sticky jumping with this weapon
* Updated the Baseball and Jarate HUD indicators to stay on screen when full
Crafting improvements
* Spy's camera beard can now be smelted into scrap metal
* Recipes can no longer produce items matching any of the items used in the crafting
* Added some new recipes
Achievement fixes
* Fixed the "Ride of the Valkartie" Soldier achievement being earned by Soldiers on the defending team
* Fixed the "Gorky Parked" Heavy achievement being incremented by committing suicide on a control point
* Fixed several Scout achievements that were broken by the new type of bat stun
* Fixed the "Ghastly Gibus Grab" achievement not awarding the hat correctly
* Updated the "Big Pharma" (Medic) and "Division of Labor" (Heavy) achievements to be 10 kills in a single life
* Updated the "Ubi concordia, ibi victoria" Medic achievement to only be 3 assists
