NVIDIA lance à son tour des pilotes destinés à Windows 7 pour les GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9 100 et 200 et ION. AMD ayant été le premier, NVIDIA réplique avec les premiers pilotes WHQL pour « toutes les plateformes ». Sont donc incluses les solutions NVIDIA ION, GeForce et Quadro. On note des gains de performances pour le moins impressionnants, et l'ajout de l'occlusion ambiante, ainsi que le support des GTX 275.
