Apogee Software vient d'annoncer son grand retour après 14 ans d'absence avec le développement de trois jeux qui constituent une trilogie sur PSP et DS. On ne sait pour l'instant pas grand chose sur ces trois opus, et notamment s'ils seront des FPS. Divisées en trois épisodes (Duke Nukem Trilogy : Chain Reaction, Duke Nukem Trilogy : Critical Mass et Duke Nukem Trilogy : Proving Grounds), ces nouvelles aventures devraient proposer des personnages en 3D, 36 niveaux répartis sur 9 environnements différents et un mode multijoueur.
D'après le communiqué de presse, les jeux devraient sortir progressivement à partir de l'été 2009 sous l'égide de Deep Silver aux États-Unis et en Europe.

Duke Nukem TrilogyTM to be released under Deep Silver label
Hermosa Beach, Calif. - Jul 15, 2008 - Deep Silver and Apogee Software today announced an agreement to co-publish the Duke Nukem TrilogyTM episodes for the Nintendo DSTM and Sony PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) systems in North America and Europe. The Trilogy is comprised of three new episodes, released sequentially, beginning in the Summer of 2009: Critical Mass TM, Chain ReactionTM, and Proving GroundsTM. The Trilogy is being produced by Apogee under an exclusive license agreement with 3D Realms Entertainment and MachineWorks Northwest LLC, and will be released by Deep Silver, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Koch Media.
