Dans une entrevue accordée à FiringSquad, Lars Johansson, le producteur du jeu, révèle que Starbreeze Studios prévoit de sortir une démo jouable de The Darkness. Cette démo devrait voir le jour avant la sortie du jeu sur Xbox 360 et PS 3 en juin prochain.

FiringSquad: Are there plans for downloadable PS3-Xbox 360 demos of the game to be released before the game ships and if so what will they contain?

Lars Johansson: We do plan to do demos before the release of the game and these will include enough of the game to allow the player the player to test out the gunplay and darkness powers whilst explaining some of the story…we don’t want to give too much of this away though.
